Anarcoholism

from Folklore Noir by The Maggoty Brats

/

lyrics

We flew the night like canonballs
over the crowd and through the walls.
No remorses, some bruises but no memories at all.
I’ve got something different, it cannot be named
but I mean, if you can take it, go and have a drink,
do you think you can go on like this for a week ?

What I need all the time to light my mind is bad for me.
And I feel all alive but I’m slowly dying.
It works for me.

I’ve seen weird things in funny jars
and the miracles of every bars.
A demonstration, an inspiration, a celebration
and I feel alright !
…but I called the doctor,
and he spent an hour lying
about my condition, he said :
-do just as you wish, but do you think
you will ever quit ?

But what I need all the time to light my mind is bad for me.
And I feel all alive but I’m slowly dying.
It works for me.
